Pastor Bernard envisioned a school in which our children would flourish academically and be taught love of God, character and Christian values. Pastor Bernard prayed about this vision. He began to develop and implement plans to open a Christian school at Travelers Rest.
The vision became a reality on August 26, 2002. The Travelers Rest Christian Academy opened for the enrollment of prekindergarten to sixth grade. The academy held its first graduation ceremony on May 29, 2003. It was an historical event for the church and the community.
This year, the academy serves students from PreKindergarten to sixth grade. Janet Watts serves as the director and Dr. Bryant Jr as the Executive Director.
